Ipamorelin + Tesamorelin – Patient Guide
Overview: Ipamorelin and Tesamorelin are peptide therapies that work together to support your body’s natural growth hormone pathways. Ipamorelin helps stimulate natural growth hormone release, while Tesamorelin supports growth hormone signaling and is commonly used to support visceral fat reduction, recovery, sleep quality, metabolism, and body composition.
Dose: Determined by your medical provider based on your individual needs, goals, and response to treatment
Schedule: Use as directed by your provider
Timing: Best taken at night, ideally 2–3 hours after your last meal
Suggested use: Use as directed; dosing and frequency may be adjusted based on individual response and tolerance
Administration: Subcutaneous injection into the fat layer just beneath the skin (not into muscle). Common areas include the abdomen or outer thigh. Rotate sites with each use.
Storage: Keep refrigerated. Do not freeze. Protect from direct sunlight
Missed dose: Take the next scheduled dose. Do not double doses
Expected benefits: May support improved sleep quality, recovery, energy levels, visceral fat reduction, metabolism, and body composition over time. Results are gradual and may vary between individuals
Possible side effects: Injection site irritation, redness, swelling, headache, flushing, dizziness, fatigue, increased hunger, joint discomfort, or mild fluid retention
What to expect (Day 1–3): Most patients do not notice major immediate changes. Some may experience improved sleep, mild fatigue, appetite changes, or slight swelling as the body adjusts. Effects are usually gradual and build with consistent use.
Why timing matters: These peptides support natural growth hormone activity, which occurs mostly during deep sleep. Taking them at night, ideally in a fasted state, helps optimize the body’s natural hormone rhythm and may improve treatment response.
Important: Use only as directed. More is not better; increasing your dose without guidance may increase side effects without improving results. Individual response may vary and results are not guaranteed.
Monitoring: Routine blood work may be recommended to assess response, safety, and dosing adjustments. We offer comprehensive lab testing in-clinic for your convenience
Notes: Best outcomes are achieved with proper sleep, hydration, balanced nutrition, and regular exercise. In case of emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
