Ipamorelin – Patient Guide

Overview: Ipamorelin is a growth hormone–releasing peptide that stimulates your body’s natural growth hormone production. It supports recovery, sleep quality, metabolism, and body composition by working with your body’s natural hormonal pathways.

Dose: Determined by your medical provider based on your individual needs, goals, and response to treatment

Schedule: Use as directed by your provider

Timing: Best taken at night, ideally 2–3 hours after your last meal

Suggested use: Use as directed; dosing and frequency may be adjusted based on individual response and tolerance

Administration: Subcutaneous injection into the fat layer just beneath the skin (not into muscle). Common areas include the abdomen or outer thigh. Rotate sites with each use.

Storage: Keep refrigerated. Do not freeze. Protect from direct sunlight

Missed dose: Take the next scheduled dose. Do not double doses

Expected benefits: May support improved sleep quality, recovery, energy levels, and body composition over time. Results are gradual and may vary between individuals

Possible side effects: Headache, flushing, dizziness, fatigue, increased hunger, or mild fluid retention

What to expect (Day 1–3): Some patients may notice improved sleep quality early on, while others may feel minimal immediate changes. Mild fatigue or changes in appetite may occur as the body adjusts. Effects are typically subtle at first and build with consistent use.

Why timing matters: Ipamorelin works by stimulating your body’s natural growth hormone release, which occurs primarily during deep sleep. Taking it at night, ideally in a fasted state (2–3 hours after your last meal), helps optimize this natural hormone cycle and may improve overall effectiveness and results.

Important: Use only as directed. More is not better; increasing your dose without guidance may increase side effects without improving results. Individual response may vary and results are not guaranteed.

Monitoring: Routine blood work may be recommended to assess response, safety, and dosing adjustments. We offer comprehensive lab testing in-clinic for your convenience

Notes: Best outcomes are achieved with proper sleep, hydration, balanced nutrition, and regular exercise. In case of emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
